Posting a comment

I have had a few people say they have had issues posting comments on the blog.

The two best ways to do it are by either using your Google ID or by using the 'Anon' option.

When you get to the 'enter comment' line, click on it and it will open 'Comment as' where there is a small arrow pointing down. Click on it and it opens 3 options. Google ID is the first, so if you have one, enter that and you should then be able to put in a comment.

If you don't, click on 'Anonymous' then type in your message. Please put your name, or a name you wish to use, at the start or end so other users can see who it is and get to know you! Then click 'Publish'

If all else fails, pop your message to me at Peakfan36@yahoo.co.uk on an email and I will copy and paste it in, or send me a message on Twitter to @Peakfanblog

Hope that helps!

  1. I also have had issues in the past using iOS (iPad) where the post is published but doesn’t appear to be received by Peakfan for review and submission.

This one was sent the same way so the issue appears to be intermittent

They always work if I send via a desktop

  3. Commentators.

It is well known that the collective noun for a group of Local Radio football commentators is “A Bias”, but some of the away commentators take this to new lengths in cricket. They are just fans-given-microphones.

Ok ,cheap as chips because that is all BBC can afford with my £12 a month licence fee, but really?

Fletch gets some stick, unfairly I feel- but people will disagree- but at least he describes what is happening. Most of the time and doesn’t turn into a cheerleader.

That said, the conversation re Dionne Warwick etc (with presumably the Radio Derby DJ when we could only hear Fletch the other night) was …umm…interesting but distracting . Almost like filling in the gaps yourself like Codeword!
