I think the lack of comments on this game tells you everything about it, a real bore draw with a positive result miles away from either county. I think your prediction of not winning any of these remaining three championship matches including the Gloucester one will come to fruition Peakfan. We just haven't had that winning mindset all season and it's not acceptable with this squad of players, we should've done so much better. It has to get a whole lot better next season doesn't it? winning one championship game would be a 100% improvement, lol
Mickey Arthur remains upbeat about the future in his post- match comments so we'll see. For now, all we can hope for is to finish 6th, for which read 7th but for Yorks' point deduction. I've seen plenty of disappointing seasons over the last 60 years, but this is right up there given the justified optimism of last winter.
