Seconds toil at Scarborough

Yorkshire compiled 394-7 against Derbyshire in the Second XI friendly today, at Scarborough.

Will Luxton made 177, and Yash Vagadia 86 for the home side, while the wickets were shared around among the Derbyshire bowlers. 

Joe Hawkins took 2-49.

    1. Not really. Nick Potts went at six, but Haydon, Stewart and Karim at three. Small ground, fast outfield, good pitch, no complaints there. Joe Hawkins went at five, but took two wickets and is a young guy learning his trade.

      Brown? Probably getting him right after winter surgery and keeping his powder dry for T20 at this stage. Plus they want to give game time to talented youngsters, to see what they have
