Ethan Wilde's 64 took them to 223 all out in their 45 overs, with Charlie Hall's 33 lending good support in a crucial stand of 89 for the sixth wicket, after a usually strong batting line up had slipped to 80-5
It proved the highest score of the game, as Nottinghamshire were all out for 191, Abdullah Zahoor taking 3-40.
Well done lads!
Scorecard here
Finally tonight, Theo Brown top-scored with 70 for the Midlands in the ECB Super Fours as they lost to South and West Under 18s.
Considering he is still under-15, that is quite something.
Postscript: the under 14 final will be against Surrey on August 26, at Attenborough Cricket Club, Beeston
