DeleteHappy Christmas Steve. Always checking this blog on my phone for your latest views. Keep up the good work. We might not enjoy much success following Derbyshire, but we're all passionate about the club we love.

DeleteThanks to Steve for a great informative blog, and to all contributors for their comments which show the wide views and passion from DCCC supporters. Let's hope for a better year for Mickey Arthur and the boys on the playing side and a safe one for everyone. Happy Christmas to all.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy reading this from Australia, the best blog for a county side, and I'm not even a Derbyshire supporter, LOL.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you & everyone else.
Cheers Tony, much appreciated! Same to you and yours
DeleteNothing merry about watching England in Australia this Christmas this Ashes tour has been a shambles even before they landed in Australia with the players refusing to travel unless their families were allowed to accompany them, this has to be one of the worst England teams to tour Australia
DeletePlaying devils advocate here but would anybody on here be surprised if the England job became available if Mickey Author was interested in it?
ReplyDeleteOr if they approached him, Ranger..
Delete2 consecutive tons in the BBL for McDermott! Think we may have been very unlucky indeed that Australia called him up last season judging by these knocks. Sumptuous stuff.
ReplyDeleteOn their true tracks he looks a good player, but nothing in his overseas record, or that I saw last year, suggested he would do that elsewhere.
DeleteTo me, anyway. Pushes at the ball too much for anything other than flat, quicker wickets.
But when he hits them, they stay hit!
