A two year deal sees the powerful left handed return home to take a place in a strong 2024 squad
I am en route to Mum's so this must suffice for now, but there will be more from me on this later.
That T20 side especially is looking very strong for next summer...
What do you think?
Didn't see that coming, but things are definitely looking more positive for the new season. Interesting times ahead Steve.

Yes huge power in that engine room now. For me, a wrist spinner of international quality would complete a t20 squad that would be expected to reach finals day as a minimum. Our squad is now, I think, still only 18 in number but the strength in depth is highly impressive. Great signing - welcome back, Ross!
ReplyDeleteIf the previous signings didn't confirm an intent on improving our white ball fortunes, then this removes any doubt. Welcome back Ross.
ReplyDeletePleased to see Ross back at Derbyshire. The value he’ll add to our middle order in white ball cricket is unquestionable. But does anyone know if he’ll be available for red ball too?
ReplyDeleteHe's signed for all formats. Facet
DeleteIt's another white ball signing in the main, which is fine. I guess our 4 day fortunes will be determined by our overseas players, to get us 20 wickets. I think a leggie who bats a bit would be ok as second overseas. Kris
