Another good day. Perhaps wickets won't come as quickly this time but given the first innings impact of our spinners I expect us to have a very manageable chase to win the game.
Whilst i can't see this being an innings victory I'd like to think we'll be chasing no more than 150 for victory. Bancroft is the key wicket, he can be destructive on any given day and if he stays there we could be in trouble ourselves. Concerned with our usual middle order collapse again and bailed out a bit by our last few players. We can do this though, come on Derbyshire!
I thought we missed a trick by not having a second slip in for Price early on, when the ball evaded a diving Madsen. What did we have to lose? Anyway, an exciting season, where we are applying pressure. Madsen and Came batted really well. Kris
Still very much on top but being greedy probably should have got another 50 to 75 more runs after madsen and came batted absolutely superbly and showed exactly how to bat against the spinners by easing the ball around for lots of singles and two’s. We probably need a reasonably quick wicket tomorrow as Bancroft and price are undoubtedly the best batsman in the Gloucestershire line up.having said that they have a fairly long tail so I still think weather permitting we should still wrap up another victory by the end of play
Another enjoyable day in Bristol , 9,10,Hack batted well to add 72 runs after the middle order wobble . A couple of early wickets tomorrow and we should secure a victory
