Our second eleven took a beating from Yorkshire yesterday in the cunningly titled Second Eleven Trophy at Derby.
There's a report on the club site, but it doesn't tell the full story. There were 44 extras AND 12 penalty runs as we bowled our overs too slowly.
There were useful knocks from John Sadler, Dan Redfern and Tom Poynton, but Derbyshire were beaten by 68 runs.
