Derbyshire are 100-4 from 41 overs against Yorkshire in Barbados.
Wayne Madsen retired hurt with a sore groin, Borrington was lbw, Smith caught at cover and Hughes also lbw.
Garry Park was also out with the score on 55 but Dan Redfern and Lee Goddard have started a stand and turned things around.
There will be 90 overs of play today and tomorrow in what appears to be glorious sunshine.

Peakfan,
ReplyDeleteI thought with Mr. Holdcroft (Derbyshire's website man) on the Barbados tour we would get some regular updates from the match against Yorkshire. He signed off though when the score was 5 for 0 in the first innings of the match! I was forced to go onto the Yorkshire website, where they gave regular and detailed updates throughout the day. I switched on Radio Derby this morning to get a full report yet they didn't even mention the game. What is happening Derbyshire?
DCCCFOREVER
Whats happening with the county ground, we were supposed to have a new stand for the coming season and still nothing has happened yet, apart from a horrible water tank been put in the corner.
ReplyDeleteRadio Derby are pathetic, they struggle to giove updates even we have a proper game. Doesnt help when the guy who is charge of sport Colin Gibson only cares about the bloody football team in and out of season.
ReplyDeleteDET- Back Page in August. Derby County sign Romanian International and beat Forar 3-2 in a friendly; meanwhile page 102 Derbyshire make it to finals day in the T20 (column 4)
Anyone would think derby where a great side the way the telegraph go on about them them, but then again they have to sell papers and the derby public are more interested in football than cricket.
