From the announced twelve, the final call is likely to be between Archie Harrison and Nick Potts, with the latter likely to get the nod and this team to play:
Reece, Came, Masood, Wood, Guest, Dal, Hughes, McKiernan, Aitchison, Potts, Conners.
Kent choose from a strong-looking thirteen, with former Derbyshire player Hamidullah Qadri included as well as Indian quick Navdeep Saini:
Denly, Blake, Compton, Evison, Finch, Gilchrist, Logan, Podmore, Qadri, Quinn, Robinson, Saini, Stewart.
With former Nottinghamshire players Ben Compton and Joey Evison in the squad, as well as Harry Podmore, who had a loan spell with us and Harry Finch, who played in our seconds earlier this summer, there is a strong East Midlands flavour to their side.
I suspect the toss witl be crucial and we must hope to come out on the right side of it this time.
I wouldn't mind seeing a repeat of the Luis Reece masterclass from Worcester, and Shan Masood lasting longer than on my sighting against Hampshire.
Fingers crossed for both - and a Derbyshire win, before I start the long drive home tomorrow.
Hopefully see a few of you there later!
Can't believe this didn't even start, barely any rain in Chesterfield this morning, must've been torrential in Derby
