It is excellent news for fans and will keep a bowler who has proved both successful and populat at the club to forge a fine opening pairing with Tim Groenewald.
It is equally good to see that the club have been forward planning and not allowing players to get to final years when they could be subject to approaches from elsewhere.
I'm sure that there will be more to come. Thumbs up from me for this one!
Yes i agree, but lets remember it was John Morris that bought Palladino and Groenewald to our club,
ReplyDeleteGood news for us on Palladino, he's been a good signing. As the previous guy said though both Palladino and Groenewald were unknowns who John Morris brought in. The squad is in need of at least a couple of quality players if we are to improve and now that John has gone I am not sure who on the staff we have got to keep unearthing the gems liked John did.

Yes , all the players that have signed contracts were John Morris players , interesting times,if K K has the same contacts as Morris,
ReplyDeleteNo complaints from me. He deserves it. Notice the selective vision from above anons!.
ReplyDeleteWell done to the club for getting Tony on a nother contract. Great news.
ReplyDeleteHope Dan Redfern is next.

to all who praise morris's signings i say Nantie Haywood. all we can hope is krik gets more right than wrong as no coach can get 100 per cent right signings. great day today.
ReplyDeleteBrewbeard, Haywood was an international cricketer and a top county player in his time and he wasn't that bad for us. We have had plenty worse!

in his time not ours. morris signed these players and credit for that. the point is he has gone and we need to look forward not back. imo these players are blossoming now he's gone. maybe a better scout than man manager. who knows? who cares? falcons forward
ReplyDeletewell done Mr Grant, what a good Chairman
