Whenever I've seen him he catches, stops and throws well! He's held some purlers and while not the most fleet-footed in the side, I'd deem him a long way from poor...Peakfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01328174919897893268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-46846306391908034.post-18897026124739648152013-08-08T15:52:09.136+01:002013-08-08T15:52:09.136+01:00I am sorry to disagree with you in your comment th...I am sorry to disagree with you in your comment that Durston's fielding has been brillant, from what I have live in the games I have attended it has been poor.

How do you justify your comment?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-46846306391908034.post-77416209612572783152013-08-08T10:06:34.103+01:002013-08-08T10:06:34.103+01:00Given the fact we only have one championship game ...Given the fact we only have one championship game until the end of the month,I think we need to keep Slater involved in things. We haven,t seen him in this format and without doing so it,s impossible to make any judgement on him. We know the dangers of playing Footitt and Turner in the same one day side,so for me it would be a case of rotating them.

I don,t know if Palladino is ever going to be fit again. If he is, then instead of mollycoddling him for no good reason,we should get him playing. We can still qualify so my team would be as follows.

1 Durston
2 Slater
3 Chanderpaul
4 C.Hughes
5 Madsen
6 A.Hughes
7 Burgoyne
8 Groenewald
9 Wainwright
10Poynton
11Footitt/Turner Marcnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-46846306391908034.post-92049240677235511302013-08-07T23:51:15.443+01:002013-08-07T23:51:15.443+01:00I would go with your team Peakfan.

Johnson has had a chance with little success and Borrington is far too one paced to come in at 5 when inevitably quick runs are required.

With all the spin options ( Durston, Redfern,Burgoyne, Madsen) I think the last slot should go to a seamer but NOT Turner who is shot to pieces at the moment. With all the spin options in reserve what about trying Evans or Higginbotham? Can't be worse than " 10 an over " Turner and if it goes wrong we have the spinners.

Finally I would move Burgoyne up one as he hits a long ball and Poynton is no seven especially in one dayers where he has no track record .

We need to take these matches seriously as we ain't out of it yet and we need to maintain momentum

Paulnoreply@blogger.com
