Even Rob Key grudgingly gave praise (and referred to us as DerbySHIRE after a prod on Twitter).Tim, Chesterfieldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-46846306391908034.post-65174889352082859812016-07-14T06:18:48.829+01:002016-07-14T06:18:48.829+01:00Strange game of cricket last night but a great res...Strange game of cricket last night but a great result in the end for Derbyshire. The way Lancashire set off I could easily have seen them getting past two hundred, because Derbyshire's early overs were awful. So step forward Tom Critchley who bowled beautifully and slowed them right down, ably assisted by Alex Hughes who was quite tidy as well.

They fell right away after that and Derbyshire were still in the game, thank god Joss Butler wasn't batting for them. I missed Rutherford's knock but it sounded rapid, and put us on a solid ground for victory. A bit of a wobble towards the end but our nerve held. Let's win these last two and hope for the best.Marknoreply@blogger.com
